1) Play chess game of no time constraints :-
It is always advisable to chess beginners not to quickly jump on short time framed matches such as blitz and bullets as it does not builds your basic thought foundation needed to win more games. Matches like these will not make you think properly and you will make random moves which is never advisable for the players who play  for the long run or want to be a better player. Play games which are of longer duration or no time limit will be better because taking your time in the beginning of your chess journey will not only help you  think right but also make you remember the mistakes you made.

2) Don't memorize all the moves :-
There will always be a dynamic nature of your matches, so memorising moves will be a static play for a dynamic match and this will make you less effective towards for your opponent. Every time you play you cannot control the moves of your opponent and so accordingly you have to change your moves.

3)Don't stick to your favourite opening :-
Don't always start by moving the same pieces in the beginning otherwise your opponent might have made a strategy to counter those set of moves. Try different types of openings so that you learn how to tackle your opponent for each opening, remember losing in the beginning is helpful as it is a game of learning and not winning everytime .

4) Focus on the centre :-
I've mentioned this in my earlier blogpost as well, by pressuring the centre,  your opponent will loose strategic part of the board. Pressuring the centre will not only give you strategic place to be but also let you checkmate  your opponent's king in no time.

5) Solve chess puzzles :-
If you are playing it daily then it's sensible to spend some time in solving a couple of chess puzzles, because it makes you solve a problem in limited resources, and playing chess will not only let you win games but also be useful in life as well. And if you are playing occasionally then it's advisable to spend an hour a week solving puzzles.

These tips will help you become a better chess player and give you an advantage in front of your friends as well. You can check my post on how to play chess here , it is amazingly explained .
Thank you!
