Best opening strategy as black ( englund gambit ) How to counter Englund's gambit...

Englund gambit counter .

How to counter Englund's gambit (best tricks , traps and main ideas ).

Hello chess lovers , my last blog was on Englund's gambit in which I mentioned that my next blog will be on how to counter this gambit so here I am , not to forget that this gambit is somewhat tricky for both the players black and white , why I say this so is because  if black does not play this well then white wins and if white gets trapped then black wins , though you have to make sure you are prepared to play this .

Now getting back to our gambit , we should always be looking for opportunities and alongside be partially defensive when our opponent gets offensive , here as you can see our opponent black just got offensive in this situation  but here you should get offensive contradicting the rule above because the point here is to make black think that he got in the wrong place and black will try everything to save it's queen .

And so we have to take this advantage and keep threatening it's pieces whether it's queen , bishop and rook in this place .
Check the variation 1 below to know how to do this .

Variation 1 :-

And again witness this in the next video .

Variation 2

The main idea here is to develop our pieces and also threaten alongside , what this does is it makes black defensive and it also looses it's own moves to develop it's pieces in front and we have the control over the centre .

So now that you know how to play this gambit and also how to counter it , next time you play know that what to do in this place .

If you want to get good at chess without gambits because gambits are just rarely played in matches unless someone knows the playing style of opponent.
And the nature of chess is always dynamic so we have to change our moves accordingly which are always  not in synchronization with the gambit's moves .
So here the list of my blogs which will make you pro in chess because this list contains tips from grandmasters of chess:-

P.S:- Comment down below if you want more blogs on countering gambits  like Queen's gambit , king's gambit etc . below and share this with everyone , cheers .
