 Chess board set up

Everyone of us once in a while get interested in playing chess , but often we set up our chess board in a wrong way or we don't know how to set up, it happened to me as well .  Then in this blog  this problem will be solved and you will  be able to set it up and start your game with the standard set up like it is in grandmasters games.

There are certain rules for the set up :-

1.) White square on the bottom right hand :-   This is the most basic thing , in this you have to keep in mind that every time you play both place the board as though both of the players get (white square) on their bottom right .

2.) Colour match of the pieces :-
Though this rule  very few notice /know  I say this is game changer , your queen should match the square piece, means black queen should be on black square and similarly white as well . Kings should be on the opposite coloured square . And you make sure that your king is next to your queen and faces  the opponent's king . Around you king and queen you should keep bishops one on black and one on white .  On those bishops sides keep knights one should be on white and one on black and on the end rooks . But remember all you knights , bishops and rooks need to be one on black and one on white and the rest of the row in front of these pieces keep pawns.

3.) Placing pieces according to board units :-  As you can see in picture above white  rook is on left bottom which starts with (1a) and other rook is on (1h)  and  it shows that white always start on the bottom right  and start off with the starting units of the board . This rule as well needs to be kept in mind whenever playing chess or else you won't be recognised by other players as known player .
Though this blog is so short and very straight forward  , but  very important in terms of the knowledge that you  will get .
