Danish gambit.

Learn how to play  and counter danish gambit ( Chess game traps , best moves and ideas , tactics )

Welcome to  a new gambit blog in which I will share with you this stunning yet really sneaky gambit which will make your friends think that you are pro chess player .

This gambit can be used in low to moderate level games because the players which are beginner to moderate level are likely to commit these moves .

The main idea of this gambit is to sacrifice minor pieces for developing other good pieces , so in danish gambit we are sacrificing pawns which will help us in clearing the board for our bishops and queen and help develop them and at the mean time diverting the attention of the opponent to capture our pawn and not letting him develop his own pieces and also letting his king exposed in the open .

Remember that you can play this if your are playing as white but also if you are playing as black you will learn and discover how to counter this gambit .

Variation 1 ( Queen killer ).

As you can see the black just captures your pawns unknowingly , but because of his lack of awareness he loses his queen . Let's check another variation which will portray you as a genius by recapturing or regaining your bishop smartly .

Variation 2 ( regaining bishop ) .

In this variation you saw that how you used your bishop for checks and recapturing his bishop , this leaves your opponent loose material and also loose strategic place on the board i.e. the centre of the board .

Now you saw how to play this but you also need to know how to counter this gambit when you are being played at , the first and foremost thing you need to know in order to counter this gambit is to not capture the opponent's pawn in the first place but even if you did then watch next video to again gain back some material .

Variation 3 (counter the gambit )

See how you equalised the material by capturing queen of white , so this way you can make sure that you don't fall for the trap .

Here are few more gambits which you can use in your games if you are playing as white or black :-

Hope this helps ,Cheers !!!☺.
