Welcome chess lovers to another chess blog, in this we are about to learn a new trap known as fishing pole trap which I say you can use this as trap and also to counter white's threatening for our knight , simply put that you are actually countering the trap white is putting you in and also trapping him alongside . 

This counter to trap white is not known to many people but the opening white plays is surely very common in the matches .

Remember you can play  this as black only and defeat white easily if he tries to trap you  .

Variation 1 (checkmate by queen ) 

As you can see in the video that white first moved it's bishop to attack our knight and after that castled instead of taking our knight because that rook of his gets developed and gets ready to attack .

Variation 2 (checkmating with knight)

See here you trapped the king inside and let no place for king to move and also sacrifices your queen for a checkmate , this is the power of this trap straight away checkmating the opponent.
